The Performance Intelligence Blueprint™

A plan for one person, built by reading their KPIs and their real conversations side by side. It shows a manager where to coach this week, and every finding traces back to the conversations it came from.

Why it exists

Numbers tell you who's behind. They don't tell you why.

Most firms coach from two sources that never meet. The scorecard shows pipeline, conversion, assets and activity, usually weeks after the conversations that produced them. Call reviews and practice sessions show what someone actually does, but on their own they can't say whether any of it is moving the business.

So the manager guesses. They see a conversion number trailing the team, pick the skill that seems most likely, and spend the one-on-one on it. Sometimes they're right.

The Blueprint reads the two sources together, one person at a time. Where a number trails peers in the same role and a behavior keeps breaking down in that person's conversations, that's where the coaching starts.

How it's built

Four steps, one page per person.

01

Start with the numbers you already run on

The KPIs your firm already tracks for the role: pipeline, conversion, assets, activity, or whatever leadership actually manages to. There's no new metrics system to stand up.

02

Read the conversations

Practice sessions and, where your compliance team allows it, real client conversations, scored against the standard your leaders agreed. That standard comes from your own best people, not a vendor template.

03

Put them side by side

Each person is compared only with people who hold the same job. We look for the places where a behavior gap and a lagging number line up, because that's where coaching pays off.

04

Write the plan

What they do well, so they keep doing it on purpose. The gaps that show up most. Then three next steps in ranked order, short enough for a manager to use in the next one-on-one.

Their numbers

The KPIs your firm already tracks, such as pipeline, conversion, assets and activity.

In context

Compared only with people who hold the same job, never a firm-wide average.

From the record

Every finding traces back to real conversations. Nothing is entered by hand.

What they do well

The behaviors their conversations show again and again, so they keep doing them on purpose.

Where the gap is

The moments that keep breaking down, and how often, read next to where their numbers trail their peers.

Three things to do next

Ranked. The first is the gap that shows up most, so the coaching conversation starts in the right place.

Three things to do next

  1. End every first meeting with a dated next step. Practice the first-meeting close twice a week. Manager reviews one real first meeting every two weeks.
  2. Ask about assets held elsewhere in every review. One practice scenario a week until it shows up in real reviews.
  3. Keep leading with goals. It's a strength. Share one recording with the team as an example.
Every finding links back to the conversations it came from, so the advisor and their manager can check it.
What makes it different

Built for one person, and honest about what it knows.

One person, not an average

Firm-wide averages hide the story. A Blueprint compares someone with peers in the same role and produces a plan only they could use.

Evidence you can trace

Every finding points back to the conversations it came from. If a manager or the person disagrees, we can show them the moments behind it.

It says only what the data supports

With a little practice behind it, a Blueprint reports results and usage. With more, it names specific behaviors. It won't guess past the evidence.

It works on your stack

The Blueprint is a method, not a product. It runs on the KPIs and the practice or conversation tools your firm already has. Where a tool is missing, we'll recommend one.

Where it fits

Where the method reaches the individual.

The Performance Intelligence Flywheel™ works at the level of the team. It surfaces what your best people do, teaches it, pushes it through your managers, compounds it with each new cohort and signals what the field is hearing back to leadership.

The Blueprint takes that same standard down to one person, so the coaching starts in the right place. Every person in the 90-day program gets one, and it's refreshed as they practice.

Questions

What leaders ask about the Blueprint

What is a Performance Intelligence Blueprint?

A one-page plan for one person, built by reading their KPIs next to what they actually do in their conversations. It lists what they do well, where the gap is and three ranked next steps, compared only with people in the same role. BlueEye builds it as part of its work with financial services firms.

What data goes into a Blueprint?

Two kinds. The performance numbers your firm already tracks for the role, such as pipeline, conversion, assets and activity. And conversation data from practice sessions and, where your compliance team allows it, real client conversations, scored against a standard your leaders agreed. Nothing is entered by hand.

How is it different from a performance review or a dashboard?

A review looks back at results and a dashboard displays them. Neither explains why a number trails. The Blueprint connects the number to the behavior behind it and turns that into a short plan a manager can coach from the same week. It's refreshed as the person practices, so the plan moves as they do.

Do we need a specific AI platform?

No. The Blueprint is a method, not a software product, and it runs on the KPIs and tools your firm already has where it can. Where an AI practice platform would help, we'll recommend one and tell you up front about any referral or reseller relationship, before anything is signed.

How does a team get Blueprints?

Most firms start with the 90-day program, where every person on the participating team gets a Blueprint. It begins with a thirty-minute call with Mike to look at the team, the numbers leadership cares about and the conversations that matter most.
